Window of the General Assembly | Economic operation of machine tool industry in Japan, United States and Germany

According to data released by the Japan Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (JMTBA), the total machine tool orders in July were 123.94 billion yen, down 7.4% month-on-month and 8.4% year-on-year. Among them, Japan's domestic orders were 35.7 billion yen, a year-on-year decrease of 9.3%, declining for 23 consecutive months; Overseas orders increased by 17.7% year-on-year to 88.24 billion yen, and orders from China increased by 65.9% year-on-year, maintaining growth for the fourth consecutive month.

On August 22, 2024, the 2024 Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award (Machine Tool Professional Group) review meeting was held in Beijing.
