On August 22, 2024, the 2024 Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award (Machine Tool Professional Group) review meeting was held in Beijing. Wen Shunru, deputy chief engineer of China Machinery Industry Federation and director of the award office, and Mei Yi, director of the China Mechanical Engineering Society in charge of the evaluation of the mechanical science and technology award, attended the meeting.

The sixth executive director (enlarged) meeting of the sixth session of the superhard material branch was held in Changchun

In order to deeply discuss the development trend of the superhard materials industry, review the development of the industry in 2023, grasp the development context in 2024, and inform the preparations for the re-election of the seventh council of the branch, the superhard materials branch held the "sixth executive director (expanded) meeting of the sixth session" in Changchun City, Jilin Province from June 26 to 30, 2024. Wang Xu, vice president of China Machine Tool Industry Association, and Li Jiyun, director of the meeting, attended the meeting, and about 100 representatives of the branch of 37 executive directors and some member units, as well as industry experts, attended the meeting, which was presided over by Yan Ning, chairman of the branch.
