Boshen Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Boshen" or "the Company") was founded in 1994, with its headquarters located at 403 Yuhua East Road, Shijiazhuang High tech Industrial Development Zone. The company has 8 wholly-owned subsidiaries in the United States, Canada, Thailand, as well as Shijiazhuang, Changzhou, Shanghai, and Shandong in China. Its main production bases are located in Shijiazhuang, Changzhou, Jiangsu, Jining, Shandong, and Rayong, Thailand. Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2009, it is one of the largest listed companies in the domestic diamond tool industry. In 2022, Tietou (Jinan) Equity Investment Fund Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership) became the controlling shareholder of the company, and the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shandong Province became the actual controller of the company.
At present, the company's business covers three areas: diamond tools, coated grinding tools, and rail transit equipment components.
 
1. Diamond Tool Business Segment
The company is one of the leading enterprises in the domestic diamond tool industry in terms of scale. It mainly adopts a distributor model to sell products, with a marketing network covering both domestic and international markets. Distributors are spread throughout the country. The company's main diamond tool manufacturing bases are located in Shijiazhuang headquarters and the Rayong Industrial Park in Thailand. It has sales subsidiaries in the United States and Canada, and overseas customers cover multiple overseas markets such as the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. It is one of the few diamond tool enterprises in the same industry in China with a global sales network.
Diamond tools mainly include diamond circular saw blades, diamond thin-walled engineering drill bits, diamond grinding discs, grinding blocks, polycrystalline diamond cutting tools and other products. They are effective processing tools for inorganic non-metallic hard and brittle materials such as stone, ceramics, and concrete; The company also produces some electric tools and alloy tool products. Electric tools mainly include desktop and handheld engineering drilling machines, saws, angle grinders, electric hammers, electric picks and other products, which are commonly used in construction and decoration; Alloy tools mainly include hard alloy circular saw blades, which are mainly used for cutting wood, aluminum alloy materials, aluminum-plastic profiles, non-ferrous metal materials, etc.
 
2. Coated Grinding Tools Business Segment
Coated grinding tools are known as "industrial teeth" and "industrial beauticians", widely used for grinding and polishing metal, wood, leather, glass, plastic, ceramics and other products. They are also widely used in manufacturing industries such as aircraft, automobiles, ships, machine tools, home appliances, furniture, and metal products. In November 2017, Boshen Co., Ltd. completed the acquisition of Jinniu Grinding. Its main business expanded from the research and development, production, and sales of diamond tools to the research and development, production, and sales of coated grinding tools. The company's business expanded from diamond tools to the coated grinding tool field, which belongs to the same abrasive tool industry. As one of the leading enterprises in the coating and grinding tool industry, Jinniu Grinding is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, and sales of sandpaper and sandpaper. It is the vice chairman unit of the Coating and Grinding Tool Branch of the China Machine Tool Industry Association. 3. Rail Transit Equipment Parts Business Segment
Since its establishment, the company has accumulated rich powder metallurgy technology and talents on the basis of diamond tool business as its core business, which provides a solid foundation for the company to extend products and cultivate new businesses along the powder metallurgy technology route. The manufacturing of diamond tool blades and friction blocks for high-speed train brake pads both use powder metallurgy technology, and some raw materials are the same, with similar processing techniques. The company utilized its years of accumulated technology and talent advantages to establish the Rail Transit Equipment Division in 2015, taking the industrialization of high-speed railway brake pads as the entry point and entering the field of rail transit equipment, focusing on cultivating new business for the company. In July 2017, the company decided to invest 61.31 million yuan to build the "Rail Transit Braking Device Material Engineering Laboratory" project. In May 2019, the core experimental equipment of the laboratory project, the 1:1 brake friction test bench, has been put into use, and the intelligent production workshop has been completed. Currently, it has an annual production capacity of 80000 pieces of high-speed train brake pads, laying a solid foundation for the industrialization of the company's high-speed train powder metallurgy brake pads.
 
In August 2020, the company fully owned Wen Shanghai Wei Locomotive Parts Co., Ltd., and Haiwei Locomotive became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boshen. Haiwei Locomotive is a supplier of brake discs for high-speed trains, mainly engaged in the research and development, production, and sales of various series of brake discs and diesel locomotive cylinder heads. After controlling Haiwei Locomotive, the company has increased its research and development, production, and sales of rail transit brake disc products on the basis of high-speed rail brake pad products, and further improved the product layout of rail transit parts business. Moreover, brake discs and brake pads are complementary components in actual use.
