Beijing Antai Steel Research Superhard Material Products Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Antai Superhard") is a subsidiary of China Steel Research and Technology Group (formerly known as the Iron and Steel Research Institute), founded in 1993. In 2001, the company was restructured into a holding subsidiary of Antai Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: SZ000969), with a registered capital of 291.278447 million yuan. It is located in Changping Park, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park and has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise. In 2011, it was recognized as the Beijing Enterprise Technology Center, and in 2013, it was recognized as the Beijing Engineering Technology Research Center for Superhard Material Products. In 2014, in response to the national call for the the Belt and Road Initiative, a production base was established in Thailand.
Antai Superhard is engaged in research and development of superhard material synthesis technology, production and manufacturing of superhard material products, and process technology development. It is one of the earliest professional companies in China engaged in research, development, manufacturing, and sales of superhard materials. Since its establishment in 1993, it has successively taken the lead in developing diamond saw blade free sintering technology, diamond saw blade hot pressing sintering technology, diamond saw blade laser welding technology, diamond wire saw manufacturing technology, brazed diamond tool technology in China, leading the trend of technological progress in the field of superhard material tool manufacturing in China; Antai Super Hard is meeting the national demand for developing the optoelectronic semiconductor industry, vigorously promoting the application of new diamond tools in emerging industrial materials, and achieving international advanced performance in precision grinding wheels for third-generation semiconductors and integrated circuits. Antai Superhard currently has a series of products including diamond cutting heads, diamond saw blades, diamond engineering drills, diamond grinding wheels, brazed diamond tools, and precision superhard grinding wheels, totaling more than 3000 types of products, all of which have independent intellectual property rights. The annual production of various superhard material tools exceeds 10 million pieces, and more than 80% of the products are exported to the United States and the European Union, accounting for about 20% of China's similar product exports. It is one of the largest diamond tool export bases in China.
Antai Superhard was the first in the domestic industry to pass ISO9000 quality system certification in October 1997, and obtained GB/T28001 occupational health and safety management system and ISO14001 environmental management system certification in 2015. In 2006, Antai Superhard obtained the EU oSa certification qualification, becoming the only superhard material tool enterprise in China that has passed this certification.
Antai Superhard is the vice chairman unit of the National Grinding Tool Standardization Technical Committee, the chairman unit of the Superhard Material Standardization Technical Committee, and the secretary-general unit of the China Diamond Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. Antai Superhard has more than 500 employees, over 62 patents, including 21 national invention patents, and has led and participated in the development of 8 national and industry standards. It is a leading enterprise in the superhard materials industry.
