European solar energy exhibition organizer: China's photovoltaic industry to help Europe's energy transformation

According to Erzeser, this year's exhibition attracted nearly 1000 Chinese enterprises, more than the host Germany. This is the first time that China has become the largest country since the exhibition was founded.
Erzeser said that every year at the exhibition can see the innovative achievements from Chinese photovoltaic enterprises. For example, Chinese photovoltaic manufacturers use fewer materials to produce solar panels with higher photoelectric conversion efficiency, thus using less installation space under the same installed capacity. "This means that we have been able to install more solar equipment on limited land. The process of decarbonization in Europe and globally has benefited from innovation in the PV industry, which is largely driven by Chinese manufacturers."

He pointed out that many Chinese companies are also cooperating with Europe in the field of batteries and establishing production facilities in Germany, Hungary and other countries. He said that China has established a complete value chain from raw materials to end products in the photovoltaic industry, and has a considerable market share in Europe and the world. "I hope to see more cooperation in the solar energy field (like the battery field)".
Erzeser said that the development of the global photovoltaic industry should not be restricted by any trade barriers, especially in the context of Europe's higher requirements for sustainable and localized production. On the one hand, the cooperation between the two sides can help Europe achieve the goal of localized production. On the other hand, it can also help Chinese companies continue to deepen the European photovoltaic market. "Therefore, cooperation is a win-win good thing."
Erzeser has observed from the exhibitions over the years that China's photovoltaic industry products have large-scale characteristics and competitive advantages. He said that this is due to China's active expansion of the photovoltaic industry in the past few years, "helping Europe and the world to obtain the products needed to achieve decarbonization goals".
