Association Group Standard Project Review Meeting (First Batch in 2023) Held in Beijing

30 August 2023, China Machine Tool IndustryAssociation(hereinafter referred to as "Machine Tool Association" or "Association") in Beijing organized an associationGroup Standards(First Batch in 2023) Project Review Meeting for Planning Projects. More than 30 people attended the meeting, including members of the association's group standards working committee and secretariat staff, the secretary-general of the relevant national professional standardization technical committee, the secretary-general of the relevant application branch and the person in charge of the project lead unit.
Guo Changcheng, vice president of the association and chairman of the association's group standards working committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. President Guo introduced the Machine Tool Association's positive response to the national reform plan for deepening standardization work and other relevant document policy requirements, as well as the overall situation of the association's group standard work since 2017. He pointed out that group standards should be different from those of government departments such as national standards and local standards. Association standards should highlight the forward-looking, advanced and professional standards, fill in the gaps in the industry and pay attention to the application of standards. The association advocates the establishment of product quality and service restraint mechanism in the industry, establishes the brand with standards, and avoids disorderly competition in the industry.
The meeting was set up by the association group standard working committee members, industry experts, as well as the nationalCutterHuang Zhenghua, secretary of the general technology group machine tool engineering research institute co., ltd. and vice chairman of the association group standard working committee, is the expert group composed of the project evaluation expert group composed of the secretary of the general technology group machine tool engineering research institute co., ltd. and the vice chairman of the association group standard working committee.
The meeting was chaired by Mu Donghui, secretary general of the Association's Group Standards Working Committee. Secretary-General Mu introduced the standard working system, evaluation principles and meeting agenda of the association to the evaluation expert group and participants. In 2022, the secretariat received a total of 14 applications for the establishment of association standard planning projects submitted by 7 branches such as numerical control system. After preliminary examination by the secretariat, communication with branches, and modification of application materials by project leaders, a total of 10 application projects from 5 branches such as numerical control system, digital display device and special processing machine tool entered the project evaluation process. However, due to the epidemic and other factors, the standard project review meeting was postponed to 2023. The association's group standards focus on advanced nature, promote high-quality development and meet market demand, and play an active leading role in promoting industry technological progress, quality improvement, and industry self-discipline.
Huang Zhenghua, the leader of the expert group, presided over the standard project approval review process. Five project leaders, namely Wuhan Huazhong CNC Co., Ltd., Changchun Yuheng Optical Co., Ltd., Suzhou Electrical Machining Machine Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Abrasive Grinding Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Zhengcheng Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., reported the project approval background and main technical contents to the expert group, as well as the project's leading and supporting role in the development of products and industries. The members of the expert group listened to the report, questioned the declared projects one by one, made suggestions for the follow-up work, and completed all the review work in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "China Machine Tool Industry Association Group Standard Management Measures" and the "Association Group Standard Formulation Work Rules". The formed project review resolution will serve as the main basis for project decision-making.
